Terms of Service

This page sets out the terms and conditions for Do’s Glass Replacement.

These terms and conditions are the only terms and conditions on which DO’S Glass Replacement has agreed to supply goods and/or services to the Customer and no modification or alteration of these terms and conditions will be valid unless signed by a duly authorised representative of each party.

The customer agrees to the following terms and conditions:

– That they will pay for the goods and/or services provided by DO’S Glass Replacement in the agreed upon manner

– That all goods and/or services provided by DO’S Glass Replacement will be as described and meet the customer’s expectations

– That any complaints or concerns about the goods and/or services provided must be brought to DO’S Glass Replacement’s attention within a reasonable time frame

Quotes Subject to Site Inspection

All quotes provided by DO’S Glass Replacement are subject to site inspection. No work will commence until the customer has approved the quote and authorised the start of works.

If, following site inspection, it is found that the goods and/or services to be provided by DO’S Glass Replacement are not required or that the works cannot be carried out for any reason, the customer agrees to pay DO’S Glass Replacement for any time spent on site inspection.

Price Quotes

All prices quoted by DO’S Glass Replacement are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of the quote. DO’S Glass Replacement reserves the right to change prices quoted at any time, without notice.

Deposit

A deposit may be required before work commences. The amount of the deposit will be stated in the quote provided to the customer. The deposit is non-refundable, unless the customer cancels the works with more than 48 hours notice.

Access to Property

The customer agrees that DO’S Glass Replacement may have access to their property in order to provide the agreed upon goods and/or services. If the customer does not agree to this, DO’S Glass Replacement will not be able to provide the services.

Warranty for Products

DO’S Glass Replacement sources quality products (glass, doors and windows) from Australia and overseas that meet Australian Standards AS2208 and AS4666.

All our products come with a manufacturers warranty which we will advise you of at the time of installation. If you have any problems with your product during the warranty period, please contact us immediately. We will assess the fault and may require the product to be returned to us for further examination. Depending on the outcome of this assessment, we may or may not be able to provide a replacement product or refund your money.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, natural disaster or unauthorized modifications or alterations. It also does not cover glass breakage that is not a result of faulty workmanship or materials

Workmanship Guarantee

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:

to cancel your service contract with us; and

to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.

Additionally, you have the option of a refund or replacement for significant product failures. If a defect in the goods or service does not constitute a material defect, you are entitled to have it corrected within a reasonable time. If you do not comply with this, you are entitled to a refund for the items and to cancel the service contract and receive a refund for any unused amount. Additionally, you are entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or harm resulting from the goods’ or service’s failure.

Process for Claim

If you have a claim of any kind, you must contact us as soon as you become aware of it and we will arrange for an inspection or simply organise to fix your damaged glass.

Goods installed by us

Should goods installed by us be found to have a manufacturing defect undetected at the time of installation, they will be replaced – free

Lifetime Workmanship Warranty

In addition to any other rights you may have under law, DO’S Glass Replacement offers a LIFETIME WARRANTY for the life of the building on all our glazing workmanship.

Please note:

This warranty does not extend to faulty parts or installation methods used at the request of you or another third party.

We cannot always match glass exactly to existing glass patterns or colours as suppliers are subject to change and availability. In some cases a small adjustment to the frame may be necessary to enable the glass to fit correctly if a different glass type is required.
